Vail Dance Festival - 2017, 2018, 2019
Conversations on Dance has been covering the Vail Dance Festival since 2017. Throughout the festival, we conduct numerous live events and publish "as it happens" content to give fans near and far an up-close look at the festival and it's dancers. Following the event, the content collected during our time will continue to be published to our podcast.
We are always happy to be able to participate in the festival from a journalistic stand point and help promote this wonderful organization. Each artist we talked to shared personal stories of moments in Vail that touched their lives forever and what it means to be a part of the family Damian has created each summer. Being able to share this love, passion, and inspiration with our audiences and theirs on a digital platform, was a wonderful experience for us.

San Francisco Ballet - April 2018
From April 20-25, 2018 we were in San Francisco to cover San Francisco Ballet's massive festival "Unbound: A Festival of New Works." What happens when 12 of the most innovative international choreographers are given the opportunity to create with San Francisco Ballet's uniquely expressive and daring dancers? With this festival the company celebrated it's home city's spirit of curiosity, experimentation, and invention with 12 world premieres over 17 days.
While at San Francisco Ballet we conducted pre-performance talks with choreographers Justin Peck, Myles Thatcher, and Annabella Lopez Ochoa. We also sat down with other festival choreographers and SFB dancers to discuss their careers and work, and the ballets the San Francisco audiences were be treated to. We recorded a live podcast with San Francisco Ballet Principal dancer, Sofiane Sylve at SFMOMA on Monday April 23rd as a part of Words on Dance's UNBOUND:UNWOUND event that will be published on our podcast channel.
