Private Coaching

We are thrilled to announce that your Conversations on Dance hosts are now available for private ballet coaching sessions via Skype and in person.

As teachers, we are very passionate about sharing our knowledge with the next generation.  Our art form is primarily passed down through word of mouth, and the more students we can access, the more we can give back to the ballet world.  Our private coaching program will allow us to do just that.

With college, summer program, and company auditions coming up, we are available to personally coach students to prepare them for these important opportunities.  If you need to work on  a variation or want to feel more confident in audition classes, we can provide you with a fresh look at your dancing.  When preparing yourself for the next steps in your ballet career, having experienced teachers by your side matters.  With a combined two-plus decades of experience as professional dancers, we know what schools, companies, and colleges are looking for, and we want to help guide you to your dreams.

If you don’t have any auditions on the horizon, but simply want to delve more deeply into your technique, we can work with you personally to develop your dancing.  We teach unique classes that combine a neoclassical style of ballet with dance history, creating a fun and educational experience for students of all ages.  Together, we share with our students a passion for the style of dance required to dance Balanchine ballets, that often varies from the style taught in most schools. Dancers who take advantage of our private coaching can expect to learn about the intricacies and slight variations that make the neoclassical style of ballet so special. Being exposed to different styles of ballet is essential when it comes time to audition, allowing students to feel prepared for anything that is thrown their way.
