This week we are pleased to bring you a special behind the scenes look at some of the Works & Process creation that has been happening safely throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic. Today we are joined by Ephrat Asherie, New York City-based b-girl, and Duke Dang, General Manager of Works & Process. We hear about Ephrat’s career and her recent work developed at a Works and Process Bubble Residency called, ‘UnderScored.’ Duke offers us an inside view into the arts administration side of this pandemic and how he and his team worked to get dancers and choreographers back to creating.

A four-part docuseries called Isolation to Creation, follows the path of artists who participated in bubble residencies this summer as a part of Works & Process, including Ephrat. The series will stream nationwide on January 27, 2021, and February 3, 10, and 17, at 8pm ET. Access is free on the ALL ARTS app, available at allarts.org, and also will air in the New York metro area on the ALL ARTS TV channel. You won’t want to miss this fascinating look at how dance persevered during this monumental moment in history.

Conversations on Dance is brought to you by Yumiko (yumiko.com).
