(348) Dan Watt, director of the documentary, 'Everybody Dance'

Today we are joined by Dan Watt, director of the documentary, 'Everybody Dance.' After his career as a dancer and choreographer, Dan ventured towards a career in film and television, working with stars like Bea Arthur, Carol Channing, and Simon Cowell, as well as working at Colombia Pictures in film development for years. Dan tells us about his beginnings in dance, how he decided that he had stories that he wanted to tell, and how he connected with the Ballet For All Kids dance studio in California, that became the centerpiece of his documentary. In 'Everybody Dance,' Dan follows five children, with different disabilities, their families and dance teacher for 10 months on their journey through life and toward their recital.

As a part of Disability Pride month this July, 'Everybody Dance' is available now on Amazon Freevee. Watch now.
